Theme : Climate Change

Climate change is like the Earth getting a fever. Normally, our planet's temperature stays just right for us to live comfortably. But, because we burn things like coal and oil for energy, and cut down many trees, we're putting extra "blankets" of gases around the Earth. These blankets trap heat from the sun, making the Earth warmer. This extra warmth, even a little bit, can cause big changes. Ice melts at the North and South Poles, making sea levels rise. Weather gets weird, with more storms, floods, and droughts. Animals and plants struggle to live in places that are changing too fast. To help, we need to use less energy, plant more trees, and find cleaner ways to live.

WHAT IS CLIMATE CHANGE?
Students can draw many things related to climate change! Younger students could draw melting icebergs with sad polar bears, or sunny days with happy trees etc.
Older students can draw more detailed pictures, like factories releasing smoke, flooded cities, or wind turbines and solar panels showing clean energy. They can also draw before-and-after pictures to show how climate change changes landscapes, or even create comic strips showing how people can help the planet etc.
