Art & Creative Writing Contest 2024

Art and Creative Writing Contest is open for Pre-Level to 12th Grade students. Last date for registration/submission is 5th May 2024.

Art gives us meaning and helps us understand our world. Scientific studies have proven that art appreciation improves our quality of life and makes us feel good. When we create art, we elevate our mood, we improve our ability to problem solve, and open our minds to new ideas. The arts teach children that problems can have more than one solution and those questions can have more than one answer. The arts celebrate multiple perspectives. One of their large lessons is that there are many ways to see and interpret the world.

Creative Writing as writing that displays imagination or invention. Creative, artistic writing uses words to convey emotion or feeling. One must use imaginary scenarios invented by themselves. Creative writing is any writing that goes outside the bounds of normal professional, editorial, speculative, or technical forms of literature, typically identified by an emphasis on narrative craft, character development, and the use of literary tropes or with various traditions of poetry and poetics.

Theme : The World We Live In

We all live in the same world but perceive it in different ways. Our rich experiences have shaped our distinct perspectives. The world has manifested itself to each of us in a different and unique way. What does this diverse world look like to you? Pick up your tools, use your imagination, and share the wonderful world that you see with all your creativity! We are certain that this will be a rewarding experience for you and that art and creative writing will continue to provide you with joy and fulfillment as your journey through life.

Art is a reflection of society, and the world we live in is reflected in the art we create. It can provide insight into the culture of a time and place as well as serve as an outlet for our emotions. Art like religion is also a manifestation of our need to find meaning in this world. From viruses and vaccines, the cure of disease, producing food for us to eat and clean water to drink, to powering our homes and making life more fun in terms of entertainment, how do you think science makes the world a better place? As we make our way toward an unknown future, culture has a crucial role to play in our survival. As humans, we naturally need food, water and shelter to survive. But equally important is understanding. To survive, we need to understand our environment, each other and ourselves.

  • A world with blinded eyes.
  • How does science make the world a better place.
  • Food is not the issue
